From Activism to Politics: Denis Nealis on Helping Founding Ireland’s First Animal Rights Party
We’re excited to have Denis Nealis, a leader in animal rights activism in Ireland. He helped to found Ireland’s first animal political party.🌱
Denis became vegan in 2017 after learning about the grim fate of male chicks in the egg industry. This led him to commit to fighting against Animal Agriculture right away, and he has since devoted himself to promoting a plant-based society free from all forms of exploitation.
During the COVID lockdown, Denis immersed himself in Animal Rights, Veganism, and Climate Justice, reemerging with a renewed determination to educate and motivate others. Since December 2022, his activism with Sentient Rights Ireland has demonstrated his dedication to ending speciesism and advocating for ethical living.
Denis firmly believes that Animal Rights and Veganism go hand in hand, echoing the views of Leslie Cross, a key figure in the Vegan movement. His efforts are focused on achieving animal liberation and reinstating ethical and humane values in our society.
Join us as Denis shares his compelling story, insights on activism, and vision for a future where everyone is treated with respect and compassion. 🌍✨
Here’s to freedom, peace, and a strong ethical culture in Ireland! 🍀
